Introduction:

Yamaha sells its bikes in Indian two wheeler markets through a comprehensive network of showrooms spread across the nation. Find the details of Yamaha showrooms & dealers nearest to your location in India and experience a hassle-free research. Yamaha FZS 25 is available in 3 different colours - Blue, Green and White. For the availability of a particular variant and colour, we would suggest you connect with the nearest authorized dealer in your city as it depends on their stock book. Yamaha FZ 25 is anchored at both ends by disc brakes (282mm front and 220mm rear) with dual-channel ABS. FZ25 delivers 20.8PS and 20.1Nm, which is 0.1PS less and 0.1Nm more than the existing BS4 FZ 25. The motor comes mated to a 5-speed transmission. Suspension duties are handled by a telescopic fork and a mono-shock.

Yamaha entered the quarter-litre segment in India with the launch of the FZ25. It comes under the FZ series of motorcycles with a naked streetfighter design and is powered by a 250cc air-cooled engine. The single-cylinder unit produces 20.9 PS of power and 20 Nm of torque. It is also BSIV compliant. It is a modern motorcycle with an ultra compact front end housing the LED headlight with AHO (Auto Headlamp On). It has a 14-litre fuel tank, 41 mm front forks and a rear monoshock

Yamaha Fazer 25 and Yamaha FZ 25 are powered by the same air-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 2-valve, 249 cc engine that makes 20.9 PS and 20 Nm of peak torque. The engine is offered with a 5-speed constant mesh transmission.

Yamaha FZ25 Design and Build:

FZ25 is designed on the lines of the 150cc FZ-FI/FZS-FI but looks more modern and has larger dimensions with a seat height of 795 mm and kerb weight of 148 kg. It gets a compact LED headlamp and a fully digital and informative instrument panel. The fuel tank has a muscular design with extensions and has a capacity of 14 litres. The seats are split. The build quality and the fit-n-finish of parts is quite on point.

Yamaha FZ25 Riding Ergonomics:

FZ25 is a streetfighter, providing a good combo of aggressive and comfortable riding position. The rider sits upright and gets a flat and wide handlebar while the feet rest on slightly rear-set foot-pegs. This results in a commanding riding stance which remains comfortable for day-to-day riding. Also, the suspension is well-tuned for a comfortable ride experience.

Yamaha FZ25 Engine:

FZ25 has a new 250cc air-cooled SOHC single-cylinder engine with 2 valves. It is equipped with Yamaha’s Blue Core technology and has been a proven engine in the Japanese market for quite some time. Here, it produces 20.9 PS of power at 8,000 rpm and 20 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. The torque is well-spread throughout the rev-range but offers better acceleration in lower revs.

Yamaha FZ25 Transmission:

FZ-25 comes with 5-speed manual transmission which offers slick gear shifts. The clutch operation is light.

Yamaha FZ25 Braking and Safety:

FZ-25 comes equipped with single disc brakes at both ends. The front disc is 282 mm and the rear is 220 mm. For suspension, it gets 41 mm front telescopic forks and a rear monoshockThere’s no ABS on offer, but the braking performance is quite satisfactory.

Yamaha FZ25 Mileage:

The engine of FZ25 has proven to be quite frugal over the time (in its native market), and now with the Blue Core technology, it promises class-leading fuel efficiency figures. This, combined with the 14-litre fuel tank, delivers well in terms of fuel economy.
